1989 Hardback 1st edition 'Jacka V.C. Australian's Finest Fighting Soldier' by Ian Grant . Jacka was the first member of the AIF to be awarded a Victoria Cross in the First World War.

Jacka gained this highest award for individual gallantry in Gallipoli. He was
one of the highest decorated AIF servicemen in WW1 as he was awarded the Military Cross at Pozieres and the MC bar at Bullecourt. Although there has been much argument that the award should have been a bar to his VC. This book gives Jacka's full military history along with his civilian life story.

This book reads like the History of the 14th Battalion of which Jacka was a member for near five years.
