Hands To Boarding Stations ! " written by John Foster.

The author was the commander of the ship during this period. HMAS Hawk was a minesweeper in the Australian fleet in the 1960's during the Indonesia Confrontation . A part of Australia's military history which today has been forgotten. HMAS Hawk was actually decomissioned from the fleet in 1980. The author not only provides an historical account of the action but also has chapters on the Aftermath, Revisting Borneo where the ship was stationed and also what happened to the ship afterwards - believe it or not it was made into a house.... A nominal roll of the ship's company complete the book.
