'There are too many graves up there to pass through without some grieving'
Arnold Jordan 1987
The Author was a member of the Australian Army AIF at the Fall of Singapore. he served with the 2 7th Australian General Hospital then 2 4th CCS Casualty Clearing Station. In 1987 the Author and another veteran were the 'last men standing' of a group photo of 2/7th Australian General Hospital taken at the beginning of their war in 1940. He thought it was his responsibilty to put down into history their account.
Author worked on the death railway at Thanbyuzayat River Kwai Kanburi.
A very detailed somewhat scarce account of life and times as POW of that group.
