Hugh Dolan tells the story of a WW2 Hero, Australian Army Captain Reg Saunders.
Saunders was an Aboriginal serviceman who was a member of the 2nd 7th Battalion.
He was the first indigenous soldier to receive a commission.
He fought in Crete and New Guinea. After WW2 he was discharged but when the Korean War began he re-enlisted becoming a member of 3 RAR. He fought with distinction at the Battle of Kapyong.
Graphically told in a comic book style with wonderful full of detail illustrations.
Suitable mid teens to adult.
