Anzac Day Children's Book

Anzac day children's book takes the reader chronologically through the history of Australia's involvement in world conflicts.

A very interesting book, with superb illustrations and quite detailed information on a wide scope of subjects. From the original Anzac day, Gallipoli landing right through to the Iraq invasion and Afghanistan war. Importantly, the book has much reader appeal in that it has the stories that lead up to the battles.

For example, it has sections on the Middle East conflict 1990, the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States (World Trade Center).

Also has interesting sections on each of the Australian Forces, Army, RAAF, and the Australian Navy - even providing descriptions of their uniforms, medals and decorations.

Surprisely, has the words and music to the Australian National Anthem - Advance Australia Fair.

A highly informative book for skill level mid-primary to adult reader.
