Aboriginal Conflicts

Collection of books relating to Australian Aboriginal Conflicts Battles sometimes referred to Black War and Frontier Wars. Many violent conflicts took place between Indigenous Australians and white settlers during the British colonisation of Australia. The conflict occurred from the very start of European exploration of Australia. In 1770, Captain James Cook ordered a musket to be fired on two aboriginal men approaching the boat. The first fighting took place within months after the landing of the first fleet in 1788. The last clashes were recorded as late as 1934.
