Model of the famous Spitfire Mk VIII RAAF WW2. Decal sheet provided depicts the livery of the Spitfire flown by the Australian Ace Wing Cdr Robert (Bobby) H M Gibbes DSO DFC and Bar, OAM. During 1945 while serving in Morotai Dutch East Indies, Gibbes's Spitfire A58-602 was called the "Grey Nurse". Today, the air worthy Temora Aviation Museum Spitfire (ex A58-758) is also depicted in Gibbes's 'Grey Nurse' livery.
