Volume 5 Covers the period which begins at the end 1944 and then follows onto the final phases of the war. Australian Operations covered include;
Battles of Leyte Gulf, Morotai, Palaus, Borneo Tarakan, Brunei, Balikpapan, Labuan. Includes photographs taken during the surrender, POW release, POW War Crimes, final discharges of men and facing civilan life again.

These books have a series of photographs of Australian operations during WW2 sourced from the collection of the Australian War Memorial. Estimate there must be at least 500+ high quality printed photos (each volume) which are arranged in chronological order of the War / Battle. Also has text reference about the photos.
