CARRY ON ! this book was created by Captain C Longmore who was a member of the 44th Battalion during WW1. He had become a Perth identity known to write in the The Western Mail and heard on local Perth radio stations. In 1921 he released the History of the 44th Battalion 'Eggs a Cook' and later in 1930 he also wrote the history of the 16th Battalion titled the 'Old Sixteenth'. He edited this book Carry On ! relating personal stories from the West Australian veterans and further short histories of the West Australian Battalions in WW1. Has a lot of new information from West Australian veterans, reprinted 2019 first published in 1939, 103 pages biographies, stories, men, battles, battalions, poems and photos illustrating the traditions of the AIF - mainly pertaining to Western Australians.
