A Victorian unit raised in late 1940 as part of the 8th Division. Only part of the unit was dispatched to the Defence of the Malayan Peninsular the other part being sent in defence of Darwin. Both parts of the 4th Anti Tank Regiment history are discussed in this book. After the Fall of Singapore the Regiment men become POW and suffered heavily at the Thai Burma Railway work camps.
