William Joynt VC was a stalwart of the 8th Battalion AIF. He was awarded the Victoria Cross for action at Herleville Wood Peronne France on the 23rd August 1918.
This book is his 1979 autobiography of his life.
I guess about 80% of the book refers to his war service.
Would be of immense interest to anyone wanting more information of the 8th Battalion life and times as told by one who was there!
