Much has been debated about the Gallipoli POWs over the years.
Their fate, where were they sent, were they mistreated, how many died in captivity, who survived. This Cambridge University Press book, part of the Australian Army History Series, is dedicated to exploring, analyzing these perplexing questions.
Importantly, in the appendices there is a list of 198 identified Australian POWs which was compiled after cross examination of several sources.
