Author Adam Holloway, a direct descendant, takes the reader on a journey, into the lives of each of the 11 young men. The family was 'Queenslander' based so there is ample amount of information about many of the famous Qld units. One was a member of the 9th Battalion B Company landing on the first day at Gallipoli. Another was a member of the 2nd Light Horse Regiment and another joined the 15th Battalion. Eric Holloway and a cousin were members of the 41st Battalion. Ernie Brooks, a Holloway cousin, was with the 47th Battalion.
'Great book for anyone with an interest in life and times of these great Qld units.'
A large book of 519 pages and narrative is well supported with period photos.
