Numerous then and now photos plus maps. The author has located sites of contemporary Gallipoli photographs showing camps, battlefields and cemeteries. Then by using geographic features he has aligned present day (2000) photos close to the original view site.

The 1915 photo is then presented alongside the modern photo to show how the landscape has changed. In some of the modern photos you can pin-point exactly where the original campsites, defensive positions, etc were located. Book includes a brief history of actions fought at each location, and devotes substantial pages to the Australian & New Zealand positions.

Would be a great book to have with you if visiting Gallipoli.
