Sniping by Idriess

Idriess was a spotter for the famous 5th Light Horse sniper, Billy Sing, and this book draws on his own experiences in the Gallipoli trenches during World War One.  Idriess wrote this book as a training manual for would be Australian militia snipers of World War 2.  - in 1942, our Government was "looking down the barrel" of Japanese invasion and these series of books were issued to try to educate the general population in self defence.
