Tanks WW1 Battlefield Accounts
This is the book that covers the tank operations at the Australian Battle at Bullecourt (both 1st & 2nd Bullecourt covered) and the loss of tanks during that failed attack. It was Major Watson who was optimistic that the tanks at 1st Bullecourt would be a complete success.
Classic early WW1 account of tank warfare. Major Watson commanded his company of tanks through the battles of Bullecourt, Passchendaele, Cambrai and Amiens to the breach of the Hindenburg Line.
A must for all tank researchers and very vividly written.
