Many Qantas personnel were bestowed citations and awards for bravery. Many of these interesting historical stories are listed in this book .

Excellent book for genealogy in that it has Appendix lists showing actual crew names and services rendered by crew also write up on all Qantas pilots who joined RAAF and awarded gallantry medal such as Distinguished Flying Cross Air Force Cross even ground personnel names.Aircaft used includes Lockheed 10A DH86s Lodestars Catalina
