In 2021 the RAAF celebrated the 100th anniversary since its establishment just after World War One. The book contains 619 large format pages, the narrative is supported with numerous photographs and maps. Historical and current information is provided for all RAAF units that were active as at March 2021. Meaning that if a unit was not active as of March 2021 it will not be mentioned within this book. However if an old historical fighter squadron of the RAAF was still active it is recorded within this book - with a brief historical reference to prior Battle Honours and present day service. Importantly, the book provides the history of current RAAF bases the history of which are difficult to obtain.
