Product Details

The book provides a compelling, first-hand historical account of the Royal Air Force (RAF) operations in Libya and Greece during the early stages of World War II.

While the book primarily chronicles the actions of the British Royal Air Force (RAF), the Allied squadrons operating in the Mediterranean at that time were highly international. Airmen from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada frequently served within British units under the Article XV squadrons system and the Empire Air Training Scheme.

Thomas Henry Wisdom explicitly highlights individual Australian personnel he encountered during his time as a war correspondent in Libya and Greece.
