8th Battalion RAR Vietnam War

8th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment or 8RAR was formed on 14 July 1966 at Queensland's Enoggera Barricks. The battalion arrived at Nui Dat, Phuoc Tuy province Vietnam during November 1969. The Battalion was part of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF).
