We Were There is a history of RAR through the different operations since Korean War in 1950 to Iraq War 2003. A detailed study, undertaken by Bill Parry who was a member of 3RAR B Company during service in Borneo and Malaya. During Vietnam War he served in 2RAR 67-68, 8RAR 69-70 , AATTV 1970.

Each war / confrontation that the RAR was evolved  has a Chapter written by a soldier who had taken part in the operation.
Highly interesting first hand accounts. The text is supported by numerous photos many named soldiers. A Honour Roll of RAR members completes the volume.
