A Walk Round Plugstreet Ypres Picardy 1914-1918' by T. Spagnolgy & T Smith. This book is a guide to the area around Ploegsteert Wood a sector of the Western Front in World War I. For ease of speech, British Allies referred to it as "Plugstreet Wood". The wood is just south of the village of Messines. Australian soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division fought near the Wood during the Battle of Messines June 1917.

Australians of the 33rd 35th and 36th Battalion killed during the Battle of Messines are buried in a cemetery called Toronto Avenue which is located deep within the wood.
Many before and after pictures and detailed maps to help the visitor to the Battlefield also be beneficial to family researchers medal collectors.
