What are those old guns in the park? Where did they come from and what is their significance? This book War Trophies will answer these questions and promotes the shared sense of community responsibility towards these guns. Presented in a catalog style the many photographs throughout the book illustrate a large Australian collection of First World War guns. Many of which are now rare or unique as most of the trophy guns in Europe were melted down to make new weapons in the Second World War. The appendix show the Australian Army Directory of Allotted Trophies the Australian War Memorial Directory of Allotted Trophies and each state directory of allotted of trophies.

A valuable book for an Australian artillery enthusiast
