the Bn fought at Armentieres , Bapaume , Polygon Wood , Passchendaele , Amiens,
and on the Hindenburg Line. Warfare on the Western Front is described with great
detail . Individual officers and men are mentioned liberally in the text, and

The second part of the book consists of Sixty-five contributions by former members of the Bn. These personal memoirs make this history unusually vivid and absorbing.
